So, I've been wanting a tattoo for YEARS but never found the right subject. I've bounced through so many fandoms and found various things but none of them ever said something that SPOKE to me. NEARLY got one for the Autobots a few years ago but then Grandma got sick and well.... It never happened.
Until one night in January when a dream.... Well, long story short, I found Gravity Falls.
Yes. I know. I found it freaky too after I discovered Bill. But it DID happened. Ask
. She knows what happened. (On old crappy phone. Not enough memory for the story)
Being a......bit of a.....con-girl back in my Junior High days..... I related to Grunkle Stan immediatly. Sure, Dipper shared my love for codes and secrets, (I found my old Diary, a few weeks ago, from when I was 5 and found the first code I ever made.) but there was something about Stan that just spoke to me.
After "A Tale of Two Stans" it suddenly made sense.
My history with my own sibling isn't too far off. We're only 17 months apart and used to be really close. Until said sibling got full of said-self and became a real jerk. Doesn't help that my own Father was (and still is), coincidentally also, not easily impressed.
Three days later, I got this done.
Contrary to popular belief. It didn't hurt. If you own a cat and have been scratched...that's what it feels like. Took 20 minutes.
I got this AFTER the episode because although THIS is what I believe that symbol to represent: youtu.be/Ia8KyEyvGS4
I didn't want it to end up like some sort of gang symbol that meant something totally different.
So, I know it's a long shot. But if Alex some how finds this, I hope both he and Stan are aware of how much this show means to me. It gives me hope that maybe my own sibling will come back to me...
